Introduction

"The Secret of Hong-Tong" is to introduce a simple artist, Mr. Hong-Tong who was born in Tainan county 80 years ago. Hong-Tong had never learned any painting skill in his entire life, but started to paint at the age of 50 and made a sensation in Taiwan with the exhibition of his works in the year of 1976. This book was written and illustrated by Mr. Zheng, a well-known artist, who used his collections to make comparison with Hong-Tong's works.
